Beach: La Albufereta

A cheerful beach with lots of vegetation in the shape of palms, other trees and cactus plants. Located to the north of Alicante. A few tall buildings can be seen from the beach. It is cut off by two cliffs on either side from which you can fish. Off the parking area there are steps onto the beach.

This small cove is in the municipality of Guía de Isora (Tenerife) and is mainly dark sand and shingle. It is easy to reach, on foot, by car or bus. In the surrounding area there are restaurants serving the local cuisine, especially fresh fish and seafood. There is also a sunset worth seeing, with views of the island of La Gomera.

You can often see bobbing boats anchored in the area, and it is an excellent sailing location. People tend to fish along the beach shore.

There is a pine grove behind the beach that runs parallel to it until it meets an urban area. All kinds of water sports are possible here. It has a car-park, restaurants, a Red Cross post and sunshade and sun lounger hire.

This beach is divided by a breakwater. A wonderful promenade joins this beach with the surrounding beaches.

This beach is protected by a mountain massif to its left. The waters are crystal clear and are of a deep turquoise colour. There is a nearby lake which is ideal for watching birds from salt marsh habitats.

This beach has showers, restaurants and car park facilities. The sand is lined with moored boats.

The beach can be reached by a path that leads from San Telmo hermitage, with spectacular views of the beach and mount San Telmo. The path ends at a flight of steps that lead to the cliff-sheltered cove.

It lies at the foot of the Costa Mar residential development, and Sequillo stream flows into it. Various facilities are offered: Red Cross post, restaurants, etc. There is a golf course very close by.

Beach: Los Alisios

It is a large beach, pleasant for taking walks. From the beach the seagulls nesting on the island opposite can be heard. During low season, this beach is a deserted, peaceful spot.

Beach: Alkolea

Surfers and people who like underwater fishing come here often. It is a peaceful beach with a beautiful view of the Guipúzcoa coast.

This beach is easily accessed. It is fitted with changing rooms and litter bins with a choice of restaurants nearby

The sand is mixed with coarse sand. The water is calm, as this is a very protected beach. It is surrounded by an area of trees.
