El Pinar

It is located in the southwest of the island of El Hierro and includes the villages of El Pinar and La Restinga. It is in an exceptionally beautiful setting, with a mountainous landscape of volcanic origin.

Plasencia

On the bank of the Jerte River, in the Extremaduran province of Caceres, Plasencia has a historic quarter that is a consequence of the city's strategic location along the Silver Route, or Ruta de la Plata. This town was inhabited by Romans and Arabs until the 12th century, when King Alfonso VIII reconquered it.

Platja d'Aro

Several prehistoric funereal monuments show that Platja d'Aro was an important settlement in the most distant times. There is also evidence of Roman presence in the village, from the Plá de Palol archaeological site.

Playa de Santiago

Playa de Santiago is a major tourist centre which comes under the municipality of Alajeró, situated in the southern part of the island of La Gomera. Situated in the sunniest area of La Gomera, Playa de Santiago is one of the most important tourist spots on the island. It is divided into two separate towns, Lomada de Tecina and Laguna de Santiago.

La Pobla de Segur

La Pobla de Segur is alongside the Noguera Pallaressa River and is one of the most historic villages in the Lleida Pyrenees. The streets of its medieval old town lead to two gates, Orteu and Parrau.

Pola de Lena

Pola de Lena is 33 kilometres from Oviedo and stands out for its rugged mountain landscape, as well as for its architectural heritage. Special mention should be made of Santa Cristina de Lena (11th century), a pre-Romanesque church, with the World Heritage designation.

Pollença

The northernmost spurs of Sierra de Tramuntana are the backdrop of the Majorcan town of Pollença. Widely known for its lively port and crystal-clear bay, the town has a medieval historic quarter that sits only a few kilometres away from the Mediterranean sea.

Ponferrada

Ponferrada, capital of the region of El Bierzo, is one of the major staging posts on the Pilgrim's Road to Santiago de Compostela as it passes through the province of León. The historic quarter of this town sits below an imposing castle built by the Knights Templar.

El Pont de Suert

Pont de Suert is the capital of the High Ribagorza region, and is situated at a height of 841 metres on the banks of the river Noguera Ribagorçana, where the valleys of Barravés, Boí and Castanesa meet.

Pontevedra

Pontevedra, a city with a long maritime and trading tradition, boasts one of the largest and most elegant historic quarters in the whole of Galicia. Situated on the edge of the estuary of the same name, the old town extends in a network of streets and squares and contains major civic and religious buildings.

Ponts

Ponts has its roots in distant times: prehistoric remains have been found, like the Sols de Riu dolmen and sculptures dating from the Bronze Age.

El Port de la Selva

El Port de la Selva is on the northern Costa Brava, and is outstanding for its varied landscapes, its beaches and its mountains, such as Sant Salvador and Puig de Queralbs, part of the Sierra de Rodes Mountain range.

Portbou

Immersed in the rugged landscape of Costa Brava, Portbou is a town with a long seafaring tradition, which offers an attractive natural setting, as well as numerous leisure possibilities along its coast.

Portomarín

The reservoir of Belesar, on the river Miño, flooded the old village of Portomarín. Its main historic buildings were rescued stone by stone: they are the Romanesque church of San Pedro and the monumental church fortress of San Nicolás. ...

Portugalete

Together with the Vizcaya Bridge, the steep streets of Portugalete’s old quarter is one of the most interesting places in the town.

Potes

Potes is one of the most attractive towns in Cantabria, in the north of Spain. The town is located in the centre of the historic region of Liébana, an area surrounded by spectacular mountains and where rivers and streams converge. Its historic quarter has been declared a Property of Cultural Interest.

Prades

Prades is a town located on the Costa Daurada that dates back to ancient times. There are remains from the Neolithic era and Iberian ruins, although the town has Arab origins.

Priego de Córdoba

In the southeast of the province of Cordoba, at the foot of fertile plains and under the shelter of the mountains of the Nature Reserve of the Sierras Subbéticas, lies Priego de Córdoba.

Púbol

Púbol is a village with medieval flavour. Its Sant Pere Church (14th century) is outstanding.

La Puebla de Montalbán

An old noble town whose historic past has left it major monuments, such as the main square, where you will find the church of Nuestra Señora de la Paz and the palace of the Duchess of Osuna, from the 15th century.

Puebla de Sanabria

Its position high on a bend protected by the confluence of the rivers Tera and Castro, made Puebla de Sanabria a strategic site and the scene of a great many battles throughout history.

Puente La Reina

It is a town heavily influenced by the Pilgrim's Route to Santiago de Compostela, with the remains of walls and several religious buildings. It owes its foundation to the bridge which Queen Doña Mayor had built over the river Arga.

Puerto del Carmen

Puerto del Carmen is Lanzarote's main tourist area. Puerto del Carmen has been transformed from a traditional fishing village into one of Lanzarote's main tourist areas. It has more than six kilometres of beaches alongside calm waters and modern hotel facilities with all the services necessary for the visitor to enjoy a pleasant stay.
