Manilva

Manilva is surrounded by a sea of vineyards. It is 2 kilometres from the sea.

Manresa

Manresa, in the interior of the province of Barcelona, is the capital of the region of Plà de Bages. Its city centre is located on a plain from which we can make out the rocky outlines of the Mountains of Montserrat Nature Reserve.

Manzanares El Real

A place to enjoy nature, history and outdoor sports, less than 60 kilometres from Madrid. Manzanares el Real is located in the Sierra of Madrid, in the Cuenca Alta del Manzanares Park, declared a Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in 1993.

Mahón

Maó stretches along the shore of one of the best and largest natural ports in the Mediterranean Sea.

Marbella

Puerto Banús, one of the main tourist attractions in the municipality, is home to an exclusive leisure area within the excellent facilities of its marina.

Marchena

Marchena has important archaeological heritage, as can be seen at the Bronze Age Montemolín site. Not to be missed is a stroll through the the medieval San Juan neighbourhood, with its Moorish defensive wall and Sevilla and Morón gates.

Markina-Xemein

This town in the Vizcaya region is on the Pilgrim's Road to Santiago de Compostela, which runs along the Basque coast towards the holy city.

Maspalomas

Its beaches are probably the most well-known and photographed in the Canaries.

Mataró

Located at the heart of the region of Maresme, Barcelona, we find Mataró, with a rich history that dates back to Roman times. Its significant marina and beach are some of the main attractions found in this gorgeous coastal town.

Mazarrón

The town and port of Mazarrón, in the heart of the Costa Cálida in Murcia, offers visitors a rich artistic heritage and a range of interesting leisure options on the shores of the Mediterranean Sea. The Bay of Mazarrón is sheltered by the last foothills of the Sierra de la Almenara, a mining area since the Carthaginian era.

Medina del Campo

The town's most outstanding feature is the castle of La Mota, from the 15th century, whose silhouette dominates Medina del Campo's skyline. As well as the Keep, also outstanding are the parade ground, the chapel and the queen's boudoir.

Medina de Pomar

This historic city is in the Merindades region of Burgos province, a little over 85 kilometres from the city of Burgos. It is on the Route of Charles V. Its old town has been declared Property of Cultural Interest. The medieval streets are lined with churches, palaces and historic buildings of all kinds.

Medina de Rioseco

Medina de Rioseco, capital of Tierra de Campos, is situated 45 kilometres north of the capital. An old fortified city, it preserves some of the eight entrance gates from the wall.

Medinaceli

Its historic quarter has the Property of Cultural Interest designation. In the town and its surroundings, we find traces of Roman, Arab and Christian history.

Medina-Sidonia

Medina Sidonia is one of the richest cities, when it comes to history, in the entire province of Cadiz. It is located south of the route of the white towns, and it is famous for having within its township numerous fighting-bull ranches. ...

Las Médulas

The town of Las Médulas is located in the region of El Bierzo, Leon. This small mountain town marks the natural beginning of the ascent towards Las Médulas, a unique cultural landscape that was declared a World Heritage by UNESCO.

Melilla

A city of Phoenician origin, for centuries Melilla has been an important trading port and defensive bastion in the Mediterranean. The early Old Town contrasts with the rest of the city, which has an important group of Modernist buildings.

Mérida

Mérida is a destination that brings the old Roman Empire back to life. Its Roman theatre is still operating after 2,000 years and in the evenings through the summer it hosts the International Classical Theatre Festival.

Mijas

Mijas, a tourist town at the foot of the hills of the same name, possesses typically Andalusian houses. Its traditional status as a mountain village has been combined harmoniously with a major tourist complex located in the coastal enclave of La Cala, where there are 12 kilometres of beaches.

Mirambel

The medieval village of Mirambel is one of the jewels of the Maestrazgo, in the province of Teruel. Its architectural ensemble received the “Europa Nostra Award” for restoration years ago. Its historic quarter has the Property of Cultural Interest designation.

Miranda del Castañar

In the heart of the Sierra de Francia, in Salamanca, stands Miranda del Castañar. Its historic quarter has been declared a Property of Cultural Interest. Mogán

Mogán, in the interior of the island of Gran Canary is the capital of a municipality with a wide range of mountain landscapes. From town, in the valley, you can take in the magnificent views of the peaks which rise towards the centre of the island.

Moguer

Moguer, a town in the region of La Tierra Llana, located on the banks of the Tinto river, is a place deeply involved in the Discovery of America, since it was in the convent of Santa Clara that Christopher Columbus pledged his oath of allegiance to the Catholic Monarchs.

Mojácar

It is one of the most charming villages on the Levantine coast of Almería. Its popular architecture of white houses, its beaches and its landscape are its finest tourist attraction.
